There is something about the old, vintage b&w photobooths that I have always adored. Even though I know that this is out of my budget and I'm not entirely sure where I would put it--I still want one.

For the wedding I decided against hiring a cinematographer. Partly because of financial reasons and partly because I didn't feel that after the first couple of viewings I would ever re-watch the film. While I am still glad that I put my money towards a photographer instead of a cinematographer, after seeing some retro Super-8 films, like that from Mason Jars Films, I wonder if perhaps I was wrong in thinking I would never re-watch my film. There is something wonderfully simplistic in these films. It is in the grainy vintage home-movie looking images that provokes the beauty and joy of the day. Take a look and see for yourselves.
